Autism represents a severe impairment of the right side of the brain’s creative playfulness and an overactive left brain that values analysis and logic in preference to any kind of compassionate connection. Autistic people have extremely tiny visual felds, typically 5 degrees or less - just enough for a device screen - but with no breadth of vision that enables one to read the subtleties of body language and social space. It is exceptionally diffcult to open the feld of an autistic person and by continually ignoring our periphery, 5 degrees may be all we will ever perceive.
Light is the stimulus that connects us, primarily through our eyes, to all the power and divinity within us through our outsight, insight and intuition. Light opens our awareness and we have yet to explore just how much expanded bandwidth space is out there. Achieving this is currently within our capacity, but we have turned away from and denied its existence. And this disowned real estate now needs our urgent care and attention.
In response to the barrage of technological devices, we have used our eyes and brains in a way that reduces this bandwidth to a narrow section of logical and analytical focus. And with year on year repetition, we are now in process of evolutionising our ‘wide sight’, our power source, our intuition, creativity and freedom to think for ourselves, completely out of existence, leaving us energetically and emotionally compromised in our capacity to take in the light.
Let’s go back to the beginning with an image of the universe and space that surrounds us. The sun - the ball of fre that continues to send humanity a slice of the spectrum - allowing coherent light to form us, fll us and keep us fourishing. And what surrounds us, we assume, is the Higgs Field, the theoretical feld of energy that permeates the universe. The effect of the Higgs feld is that it breaks symmetry. It is this non-symmetry or ‘chaos’, that I see as giving us free choice, that allows human beings to explore and interact with ‘the feld’ in their own unique way. Yet there is always the possibility for us to return to the light - bringing balance once more.
The directions that we take on our journeys through life are for each of us a unique movement that is done with curiosity and desire in the world that surrounds us. Like a tree growing and expanding its branches, ultimately heading towards the light, but choosing a slight change in path, we do similarly .
Light brings about a reorganization of our personal felds and in so doing, shifts our perceptions as well. We can map these felds and make a diagnosis of the shapes that our perception forms. What is most enlightening is watching how our perceptions change, which direction we are moving in and where we have become stuck. It shows us the sometimes, distorted pathways we have chosen.
