I sometimes look at my life — at things I’ve done, ways I think,

and attitudes I have, and other things, and I wonder why in the

world God would want eternal relationship with someone like

me.

We all know our selves, and see our faults more than anyone

else does. We know our sin, our weaknesses, and our failures.

But I also know that God doesn’t just

base eternal life on me, but on

my relationship with his Son Jesus.
