Shown are representative Western blots of volume-equivalent samples taken from aqueous
humor subjected to differential centrifugation steps. Pre-spin shows whole aqueous humor;
cell debris shows resuspended pellet of whole aqueous humor subjected to 10,000 g;
supernatant from pre-spin was subjected to centrifugation at 100,000 g giving exosomes in
pellet and soluble proteins (sol. Prot.) in supernatant (Perkumas et al., 2007). Permission
