Activity: Jesus foretold of his resurrection. Even the high priest and religious leaders knew of
His claim to raise again after three days. What do you think of their efforts to prevent His
resurrection by placing a guard at the tomb? Or of sealing the stone? Can you imagine what
their reaction was when they found out that He did raise again even after they took
precautions to prevent it? How did their next step demonstrate the total hardness of their
hearts?
