Is the Ark in Israel?
The Ethiopian Jews are called Falasha Jews and descendants of the union of Solomon and the Queen of
Sheba. Haile Selassie, the last emperor of the 3,000-year-old Ethiopian Solomonic monarchy, was
disposed of by a military coup in 1975. He was sympathetic and supportive of the establishment of the
Jewish State in Israel. He claimed that the Ark of the Covenant was located in Aksum and brokered a
deal for Israel to come and reclaim the Ark., but a communist takeover of his kingdom foiled the plans.
His ambassador to NATO rescued Selassie from the communists but assisted in the purchase of the Ark
from them. He has made public this story which has been confirmed by the Generals of both the Israeli
Air Force and the Ethiopian Air Force:
Israel made an arrangement with the outgoing communist leaders. Not only did they pay millions
of dollars in bribes to let the Jews go, but they paid a $42 million bribe to let the Ark go. In
cooperation with the righteous Christian priests in northern Ethiopia, in Aksum, where the Ark had
been in safekeeping for 3,000 years at the Church of Mary, underground in a temple.
They flew in with a group of Israeli commandos, all of them Levites, so that they would follow the
prescription in the Bible, carrying the Ark on staves on their shoulders, onto a plane, where it flew back
to Israel where it is now held in safe keeping, secretly.
Several rabbis who are well connected to the Sanhedrin have confirmed to me that it is there in Israel,

waiting for the sign from God to build the temple.”
Grant Jeffrey in his book, New Temple and the Second Coming, gives great detail to this event and
confirms this story as valid. It can be purchased from Amazon ($6,99 for Kindle version, $14.69
paperback).

What ended the United Monarchy?
Solomon’s many foreign wives led to his downfall. The more he resembled the other kings of the
ancient world, the further he got from Israel’s covenant relationship with God. Besides worshiping his
wives’ foreign gods, Solomon also established forced labor for his citizens. This was unheard of among
free Israelites, and Israel would not bear it long. Ten tribes of the northern Kingdom broke free from
Solomon’s son and established their own nation.
As with many times of great abundance, the time of unification came to an end under Solomon. Many
factors converged to bring this about. Dissatisfaction with taxation laws ignited anger and cessation.
Tribalism led to divisions as well. In the next chapter, we will cover the period of the divided monarchy.
