               Developing a Biblical Mind- set

The redeemed mind as a result of salvation, the mind of a newly redeemed person knows and
comprehends the glory of God (2 Cor 4:6). The mind attains a new way to think and a new capacity to
clean up old ways of thinking. Indisputably, God is in the business of mind renewal for Christians.

                     Biblical mind set is more concerned about God’s thoughts not the thinking of men. (Ps 53:1;
                       Rom 1:25)
 Biblical mind set have spiritual sight, it is not blinded by Satan (2 Cor 4:4).
 Biblical mind set makes one wise. (Ps 14:1; Titus 3:3).
 Biblical mind set produces life and not death (Rom 8:5-11).
 Biblical mind set fix its affections on the things above, but
on the things of earth (Col 3:2).
 Biblical mind set elevates light, not darkens (John 12:35-36,
                       46).

Scriptural basis for Need for the Renewed mind and
               Transformed Life.

Rom. 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so
that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Eph. 4:23 -24 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new self, which in the
likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Col 3:10 …and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the
image of the One who created him.

Col 3:2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

2 Cor 10:5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God,
and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one
another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

The Mind of Christ: The ultimate pattern of maintaining the Christian mind is the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Cor. 2:16 For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have
               the mind of Christ.

2 Pet 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has
caused us to be born again to da living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
