P. 9

Phil 2:5 -8 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the
form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the
form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He
humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Phil 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise,
dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice
these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Phil 3:19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who
set their minds on earthly things.”

2 Ti 3:16–17. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for
training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

How will embracing a Christian worldview and cultivating a biblical mind-set helps us in the culture we
live? A Christian world-view will help us think biblically and live above reproach to the glory of God the
father. Therefore, we should never waste our lives but, rather, invested in glorifying God by bringing
one’s worldview into line with the worldview of God’s Scripture. When Christians think differently than
the people of world, the world will know we belong to God. At salvation, Christians are provided with a
regenerated mental ability to comprehend spiritual truth. After salvation, Christians need to
accommodate their thinking chiefly by mind renewal, using the Bible as the means to do so.
