 Biography
 Pujol de Gustavino was a Spanish painter of compositions and persons, a portraitist, an
 aquarellist, a designer, a sculpture creator and Orientalist. He studied in Barcelona and
 decided to stay in Paris. He is known to be a part of the Spanish painters of the School
 of Paris. He was a student of Nicolas Luis Cabat and then of Jean Léon Gérome.
 He also studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, where he met Raimundo de Madrazo
 and Léon Bonnat. He exhibited at the Salon de Paris, and received the Medal of Honor
 of the Exposition Universelle of 1889 for an Orientalist Painting. He was a collector of
 antiques and one can see many of them in his paintings. His paintings were sold mainly
 in England and in America.
