Biography
Amadeo Simonetti was born in Rome in 1874. He studied at the Roman Academy alongside
G. Constantini. He dedicated himself to live landscape studies (Villa Borghese, Rome,
Communal Gallery of Modern Art) and to Orientalist subjects. He presented his works to
the expositions of the Roman Assocation of Aquarellists and in 1906 was present at the
National Show of Milan (Alba di Quaresima). In 1919, under the invite of O. Carlandi, he
became part of the group of the “XXV della Campagna Romana”.
