he Resident and Fellow Committee (RFC) is proud to be classified as a formal CUA committee (since June 2019) and as
Tsuch, is now invited to attend the CUA Board meetings, to present a summary of the group’s activities. This is a welcome
advancement that will be mutually beneficial, engaging CUA’s younger membership and ensuring the success of the
association, while simultaneously validating the professional and academic challenges faced by the next generation in
urology.
The committee will continue to address how CUA can best use its resources to advocate for residents and fellows and will
consult with connected CUA committees on how to implement proposed initiatives. Recently, the committee’s comments
on improving the mobile viewing functions of the new website were well-received and we are currently considering how
to compile robust fellowship program data to advertise on the CUA website. This committee has a voice, so we encourage
you to impart suggestions, comments and input to your RFC program representative.
Finally, we take great pleasure in announcing the growth of CUA’s urology resident membership. Currently, an amazing
