                    Youth Red Cross Organized Blood  Donation  Camp in association with Indian
            Red Cross Society, Blood Bank, Ananthapuramu Branch along with NSS, NCC Units
            on      07-03-2024.  This  programme  was  inaugurated  by  Principal  Dr.  ACR  Diwakar
            Reddy. On this occasion Principal encouraged blood donation by the students and staff
            members.    Youth  Red  Cross  coordinator      P.  Giridhar  told  about  the  importance  of
            blood donation and helping the society by donating blood. Indian Red Cross Society
            Vice chairman   Dr Lakshman Prasad distributed certificates to the blood donors. IRCS
            medical officer Dr Shankar Gowd encouraged and distributed certificates to the blood
            donors.  He  also  gave  instruction  to  the  blood  bank  persons.  In  this  blood  donation
            camp  Teaching  faculty  Dr  N.  Venkata  Narayana,  GLN  Prasad,  NYK  Officer
            Sreenivasulu donated blood along with the students. We handed over 52 (Fifty Two)
            Units of blood to the IRCS Blood Bank, Ananthapuramu. This programme was made



























                                                             We  Youth  Red  Cross  organized  Cardio  Pulmonary
                                                             Resuscitation  by  Mr.  Mohan  Krishna  Indian  Red
                                                             Cross  Society,  Anantapuramu  Branch  along  with
                                                             department  of  Zoology  &  Biochemistry. Mr.  Mohan
                                                             Krishna  told  about  the  importance  of  CPR  during
                                                             health  emergency  times  i.e.  restart  of  Heart  and

                                                             Lungs when they are stopped.



            He also told formula DRABC of which D Danger- such as Electrocution, Inundation,
            Accidents etc. look after situations carefully. R – Response such as Talk, Touch, Pinch
            etc. A – Airways- Open it, clear breathing passage, keep chin lift, head tilt.  B – Breath-
            ing, look, listen and feel. C – Circulation observation. CPR  30 times compression and
            2 times air pumping through mouth in 30:2 ratio. Nearly 60- 70% patients are saved by
            by CPR. All the Teaching staff and students participated actively and made success.            32
