No not the bands that play music! These were groups of 4 or 5 families who:
Travelled Protected
Hunted together Shared each other
together resources
Shared
And as we saw in the book: food
This was done in a particular way, called the “star pattern”.
Family 1 Family 4
Food This way, everyone got the same amount
of food.
Family 2 Family 3 It’s a bit like cutting a cake and sharing it
evenly.
