Evidence Hunting





     They may not have been able to write

     in words, but the people of the Stone
     Age show us where they were in lots

     of different ways.






                                                                     They drew amazing cave paintings, like the ones shown

                                                                     here. This is the mammoth painting  from the story,
                                                                     that Osha’s grandfather painted.




                                                                     Of course, we don’t really  know who actually painted
                                                                     it, or why. Maybe it was like in the story in celebration

                                                                     of a hunt? Or maybe it was for another reason?



     Anthropologists have been able to find                                   One of the reasons I chose this cave

     out that these “finger flutings” were                                    painting to write about was the many
