Coaching for Continuous Improvement
Coaching in a Continuous Improvement Environment means the leader takes a sensei approach to helping their team members develop. Rather than being out in front leading the charge and giving orders (a push system), the Leader is the person with knowledge and experience creating a ‘pull’ system of employee development. In sports, the coach is not the person on the field moving the ball, but rather on the sidelines calling the plays, positioning the players, and giving encouragement and feedback.
Coaching for continuous improvement is about developing your people and growing your business. It’s about creating an environment where your employees are engaged and motivated to excel and achieve outstanding results.
