Please read and follow all instructions carefully!

OVERVIEW

Beginning FEB 1 2021, students entering Grade 9 at Dante Alighieri Academy, in September
st
2021, are required to complete the course selection process ONLINE using myBlueprint
Education planner. Together with your parents/guardians you are to enter your choice of
eight courses which will be used to build your timetable. This step by step guide has been
prepared to help you with the process.

When you are finished inputting you courses online, you will be asked to SAVE and PRINT a
copy of your COURSE SELECTION SHEET. You must be sure to include this with your
registration package completed and signed. (please read REGISTRATION STEPS package
insert.) Once we receive your registration package you, together with your parent/guardian,
will be scheduled to attend a virtual meeting to address any questions you may have and to

review your Individual pathway plan as you enter Grade 9. During your appointment a staff
member will review and confirm your course selection in our computer system as well as
answer any questions you may have.

Need Help? Your grade eight teacher/guidance counsellor should be able to

answer any of your questions. Additional help is available through Dante Student Services.

N.B. Students who have been identified through the IPRC process and have an IEP
may choose NOT to select their courses online. Instead, they can choose their courses
during their scheduled registration appointment with a Special Education teacher at
Dante. Additional support is also available by emailing
