 Beginning with ENGLISH

 CLICK to expand the
Course selection and Details Screen

 In the Course Selection and Details screen, explore the available courses. By clicking on the
highlighted BLUE heading for the appropriate course and level you will be provided with a
description for that course
 Once you have decided on the course you want, scroll to the bottom of the description and

CLICK

 Once you have added the course, you will see the course selection
appear in the Grade 9 column in the appropriate subject area

N.B. For their English course, Students requiring ESL support MUST select the
next Step/Level of ESL, as recommended by their grade eight teacher.
Example: If you are currently ESL Step 3/Level C, you will select ESL Step
4/Level D (ESLDO1) from the Course Selection drop down menu.

 Continue the process until you have made your selection in all eight Grade 9 subject areas:

English, Mathematics, Science, French as a Second Language, Geography
Health and Physical Education

 FEMALES use code PPL1OV
 MALES use code PPL1OU

 Students applying to SOCCER (co-ed) use code PAL1OE
Arts (select only one from the available arts courses)
Religion (all TCDSB students must attempt a Religion course in each year)

STEP 2: REVIEW COURSES

 When you are ready to submit your course selections, CLICK the Review Course Selection
button and carefully give your course selection one final look over. Correct any errors by
highlighting the course you want to change.
 Right CLICK and select change from the top right hand corner
