LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES GALORE

Dubai Gem works to create a nurturing
environment that fosters holistic, well-rounded
development of students. It is with this in mind
that the school implemented Clubs and
Activities. Every fortnight students participate in
activities with the aim of developing new skills.
Not only does the programme allow students a
break from their everyday lessons, but also
gives senior students an opportunity to take on
responsibilities and hone their leadership skills
through several student-led clubs.

This year, the programme featured 17 clubs
including new add-ons such as Photography,
Drama, Sustainability, and Career Development
clubs initiated by students.

As Clubs and Activities are an enriching experience
enjoyed by all students, efforts were made to
incorporate them into the Distance Learning
programme.
