VIDHI OGALE - YEAR 6B POEM BY VIDHI-PRIMARY CORRESPONDENT
Vidhi Ogale, the Primary Student Correspondent from 6 B shares
her thoughts on the situation we all are facing through the poem,
Friend or Foe ?
FRIEND OR FOE?
It was a nice and sunny day as I walked through the door,
Then I saw something… something like never before.
It was black…. blacker than the blackest night,
It moved around me; it gave me quite a fright!
It followed me everywhere,
The kitchen, the balcony, and even up the stairs!
I tried pushing it away, but it wouldn’t budge,
It was stuck to me, like some very sticky fudge.
As the day went on, I kept struggling,
It was war, and it was only the beginning.
This battle raged on and on,
But I still wondered, what was going on?
As I saw the sun setting in the west,
It got longer I thought it would never rest!
Now my foe was slowly fading,
After a while, I couldn’t see a thing!
Now I sit and wonder if it will ever be as fun,
As I await the new rising sun.
