STEM WORKSHOP
The STEM disciplines are arguably the most important fields of the 21st century, given their role in facilitating sustainable growth and development
founded on innovation and critical thinking. An organization that aims to inspire girls to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics,
g4g hosted an interactive, hands-on workshop for the girls of Year 7. The students participated in many entertaining and educational activities,
including building robots, designing sustainable planes and creating polymers.
MANIPAL UNIVERSITY TRIP
FIELD TRIP TO UNDERSTAND PRACTICAL CHEMISTRY
The AS and A Level Chemistry students visited the Manipal University on 21st October 2019, for an insightful workshop on practical chemistry. Our aspiring
Chemical Engineers participated in hands-on learning activities at the ASPEN Plus and Chemical Engineering laboratories. Students had the opportunity to
test out ASPEN Plus, a software that simulates chemical reaction processes and to gain practical experience.
GLOBAL WARMING
The students of Year 2 led
an awareness campaign on
the adverse effects of global
warming in September
2019. They collaborated
amongst themselves using audio-visual
resources for generating mindfulness towards
this phenomena for a better future for
mankind.
