Learning To Lean On Jesus

Growing up

I believe God starts a call on our life even as a little child. This is
how it started out for me. I was saved in a children’s ministry
service at the young age of 4 ½ years of age. I was filled with the
Holy Spirit at age 8 and had a vision of heaven and was called to
be a missionary at the same time.

I think even as a young child God was preparing me for where He
would place me as a missionary. Even then I was fascinated with
anything about the Indian culture. I do have some Indian blood but
very little.

There was a time in my young life that I started an Indian club. I
had read about how brave the Indians were, so in order to join my
club you had to prove that you were brave. You had to dress in
shorts and have beans shot at you out of a pea shooter; it really did
