Tinkers Heart

               Margaret Elizabeth Williamson

I lay here waiting for you, I am more than words can say.

Made by love to honour them, my friends I will stay.

I’ve been stampled, I’ve been trampled and covered in clay.

I’ll be here for eternity, come see me one day.

Take a dander to loch Fyne where I stay.

Overlooking Dunderave castle my stones shine away.

The sun sets over the hills where my heart lies.

Times are changing. memories fading, my heart never dies.

I was once a place of celebration , forgotten in time.

I will be shining again, as a cultural sign.
