                                            Cold Water Booster Sets

There are dozens of manufacters/assemblers of cold water boostersets out there all claiming
theres is the best and the most advanced.

But what booster set you go for should be based
on your requirements not the manufactures
If you only need a single pump fixed speed then
why go for a multi pump variable speed, you will be
told by the over sezilst representative that everybody
goes for a duty/standby variable speed set, but do
                                  need it ?

Booster sets can come as single pump or multi pump
fixed or variable speed, we can help you with calculating your flowrate based on proble demand as
detailed in the “Plumbing Engineers Services Design Guide” then we help you decide if you need a
standby pump and if it would be better engineering practice to go with a multi pump set, and if you
            go fixed or vaiable speed.

If your just transfering water from one tank
to another then theres no need or advantage
to have variable speed, and if its no a critical
supply do you need a standby,

Variable speed boosters are better for direct
feed systems (you are pumping direct to the
draw off points) as this is a variable
demandthe pump/s will operate at the speed
necessary to maintain the set pressure. Ig the vaiant of deman is large then it may be better and
more cost effective to split the duty down between multible pumps.
In the UK it is ileagel (unless you have written permission fron the local water company) to conect
a pump direct to the mains, therefore you require a break tank and depending on what your
pumping and where your pump it to what type of break tank you will require, the standard for
boosteing cold water is a type AG or AB airgap.

We have a range of pump set that come as a package
with a break tank, weather its the compact Aquabox
or the break tank mounted on a frame above the set.

That’s what we do, we can help you with your design, selecting the right pump set for the right job
