In response to your invitation, the Undersigned after inspecting the construction site and
familiarizing itself with all conditions that may affect the cost and schedule of work, and having
examined all of the Bidding Documents, hereby proposes to furnish all labor, materials, tools,
equipment and services required to perform all of the work in strict accordance with the Bidding
Documents as prepared by:

for the construction of:

CORNELL TECH CAMPUS VERIZON EXECUTIVE EDUCATION CENTER
EARLY WORK PACKAGE 1 (EXCAVATION AND FOUNDATION) AND
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT COST

for the Guaranteed Maximum Cost of Six Million Eight Hundred Sixty Nine Thousand
Four Hundred Thirty Six ($ 6,869,436 ),

which Sum includes all federal, state, and local taxes as may be applicable. If this Proposal is
accepted, the Undersigned will execute a formal Contract completely consistent with the
provisions of this Bid Form and all Bidding Documents referred to herein.

2. REQUESTED ALTERNATES

The following sums constitute additions to, or deletions from, the Guaranteed Maximum
Cost resulting from Requested Alternates listed below and more fully described in the
Specifications. The amount shown shall represent the total difference in price for all additions,
deletions and modifications for all trades, including applicable taxes, overhead and profit.

If Cornell University accepts any or all of the Requested Alternates listed, the resulted
labor and material constituting the work as described shall include all agreements and conditions
contained in the Contract Documents.

Prices of Requested Alternates, if selected, are not subject to negotiation and will be
considered along with the Guaranteed Maximum Cost to determine the successful bid.
