3. REQUESTED ALLOWANCES
A. SCHEDULE OF REQUESTED ALTERNATES
1. Allowance No. 1
In addition to allowances for wastage and standard construction tolerances
calculated and provided by the Contractor, 50 cubic yards of installed (fc=5,000
psi) concrete shall be included in the concrete bid as a separate price for
additional materials to be installed at the discretion of the Architect and/or the
Engineer.
Allowance Value $ 50,000
2. Allowance No. 2
In addition to allowances for laps, bends and wastage calculated and provided by
the Contractor, 10 tons of fabricated , installed steel reinforcement shall be
included in the concrete bid as a separate price for additional materials to be
installed at the direction of the Architect and/or Engineer.
Allowance Value $ 35,000

Winter Concrete Allowance
of
2017 winter concrete operations will need to be considered.
