Originally constructed in 1964 as a med/surg unit the time had arrived • Th e project required the total gut demolition of
to convert the fl oor for cancer care. the space while at the same time not disturbing
the services of the renal dialysis and endoscopy
centers on the fl oor immediately below.
• Detailed phasing scenarios incorporating “after
hours” shift work accommodated the installation
of the new mechanical, electrical and plumbing
systems.
• High end fi nishes throughout the project have
created a warm, caring environment for the
patients.
