The Bloomberg Center
(Planned Completion October 2017)
Th e Bloomberg Center is the fi rst of several buildings to be
constructed of the new Cornell NYC Tech Campus on Roosevelt
Island. Th e Bloomberg Center provides graduate students, faculty
and administrators with a new facility for research and education. Th e
building design refl ects Cornell’s goals of creativity and excellence,
providing fl exible academic spaces and pioneering new standards
in building performances and sustainability.
Crum & Foster, Morristown, NJ
Corporate HQ
Th is project includes the complete interior gut, MEP replacement
and renovation of the existing four story building which will be
transformed into a Class A Headquarters for Crum & Foster. In
addition to the interior renovation the exterior of the building will
receive a new skin and a new 515 space parking structure will be
built concurrently.
Bayer Healthcare, Hanover Township, NJ
Corporate HQ
675,000 SF, Pursuing LEED Gold. Th e new U. S. Headquarters
for Bayer Healthcare was constructed in two phases. Th e fi rst
linked two existing offi ce structures with a fi ve-story glass atrium.
Each of the structures was renovated; one with a two-story vertical
addition. In addition to these Class A offi ce buildings, one of the
existing research buildings was rejuvenated as a fi tness center. As
part of this phase, approximately 2,500 on-grade parking spaces
was constructed within parking fi elds surrounding the buildings.
