Southwest Middle Space Coast Jr/Sr High
Eighth and ninth grade girls at Southwest Middle and Space Coast Jr/Sr High a ended
a summer STEM camp hosted by the district’s career and technical educa on department. This unique opportunity was provided at no cost to these students through a grant that focuses on girls who have an interest in learning more about careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
Students explored how STEM disciplines impact their world and prepare them for the workforce of tomorrow. They learned about women in engineering and manufacturing technologies. Campers developed basic
