As a future physician, may I always advocate for my patients and their right to receive care, especially patients in vulnerable populations.
May I treat each patient I encounter with respect and compassion regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation or ethnicity.
May I always keep the best interest of my patients at the forefront of my decision making and resist the temptation of financial gain.
May I dedicate myself fully to gaining the most medical knowledge possible in order to effectively prevent, treat and manage disease to the best of my ability.
May I always remain humble and seek aid from colleagues when necessary.
May I chose collaboration over isolation.
May I create a safe environment for my patients. May I respect the confidentiality of all individuals who entrust their care in me.
May I speak out against injustice towards my patients.
May I be open to knowledge and criticism so as to continuously grow personally and professionally. May I respect the limitations of myself and the limitations of medicine.
May I offer support and comfort to my patients in moments when no cure is available.
