 Matison Alderman
I vow to listen to my patients; understanding they are the expert of their experience
I vow to guide my patients to wellness, knowing that we must work together to achieve this.
I vow to be free of malicious motives; never letting bias or greed effect my judgments.
I vow to be present with my patients, my educators, and my loved ones, valuing the time I have with each. I vow to never stop learning in order to be the best physician possible.
I vow to be professional, making an effort to not let me personal beliefs effect my practice.
I vow to foster my patients trust in me, making them feel safe and ensuring they are at ease and know that any information disclosed with me will be kept private.
I vow to be honest with my patients, to be open minded and impartial.
I vow to be up-to-date with the ever changing technology, to ensure my patients are getting the best quality care.
I vow to be culturally competent, with a goal of enhancing all of my relationships with my patients and understanding their needs.
I vow to be an advocate for my patients, leading a coordinated care team to optimize their wellness.
I vow to recognize the contributions all members of the healthcare team, understanding that I although I may be viewed as the leader, I am not alone in treating the patient.
I make these promises faithfully and freely, considering my motivations and personal values, striving to be a doctor whom practices to treat the patient rather than their disease.
