7. Physical Examination of Raw Materials

SCOPE PROCEDURE
To physically check the sample for all raw materials and Sample should be drawn from each and every bag of
finished feed. all raw materials and finished feeds. The following
physical examination should be carried out at the time
of sample collection.
OBJECT
Physical examination is one of the important part of
quality feed production and the purchase of quality raw
materials.

MAIZE

SIGHT SMELL TOUCH SOUND
Fungus, Black maize, Pesticide, faecal Hot and wet condition Moisture can be felt
Dunkeys, Broken maize, droppings, cock roaches, by sound
corn cobs, Weevils, Dust and dead insects
and foreign materials.
