Reset Targets
Before you launch, make sure you
re-prioritize and reset internal targets.
Amidst uncertainty, the biggest mistake
management teams can make is
allowing “everything to be important.”
Of course, this means nothing is
important. When too many things
are important nothing gets done.
So, pick. Once you’ve picked, reset
personal and department KPI’s, bonus
programs to keep everyone focused on

Manage to the Outcome
The worst thing we can all do is launch
change programs and go back to using
the same P&L metrics to measure
our success. Of course, we need these
metrics. Try setting up some leading
indicators and KPI’s that will deliver
on the results of your new customer
programs. Manage to those leading
indicators on a bi-weekly basis and
work diligently not just to complete
the program but to achieve the
