Casa Cancha, which still holds many articles today. Although the purpose of Machu Picchu is unknown, the
importance of the location is clear. The protection of this beautiful site and its original items will be critical if
it is to be enjoyed and studied by future generations. The history of Machu Picchu and Yale demonstrates an
improbable discovery of a mysterious place while highlighting the emotional connection between the site and
Peruvians. These connections and expeditions will be valuable to examine in the future as Machu Picchu
continues amaze visitors.
