opposed to a wifi or whatever Fire Alarm system (which, were it installed at an amazingly high
cost, would also require a regular (oien weekly) tes>ng H resul>ng in a ringing of the various alarms to test same H something I for one would find unbelievably annoying, intrusive, ludicrously expensive (£3000 pa) H but I will await your comment and advice if my reading (Management's) of the a`ached pdf is incorrect (it's 192 pages so take it to bed).
addi4onal reply: there is no legal requirement stated in the Fire Risk Assessment for a communal Fire Alarm system of the one you are referring to. If you read the 192 page pdf I sent you, it explains all and every legal requirement. As regards viewing the Fire Risk Assessment we undertook in February this year, as it's 32 pages, I'm a`aching the relevant ACTION TO BE TAKEN pages H which as you can see does NOT require a fire alarm system over and above, maybe, smoke alarms in each flat H but that cannot be forced on people.... I hope this now answers your perfectly reasonable concerns .... BUT... if you wish to get a quote for installing and maintaining a Fire Alarm System, then do so and advise everyone of the cost of installing, maintaining and the various Alarm Drills required for one and all, including your tenants.
Dear all,
I did omit to reply to the 1st paragraph.

We bought the Head lease thanks to my insight and judgement on the ma`er. I managed to convince some of you that it was a wise decision to take if we did not want our money to disappear in thin air. This was the result of my inves>ga>on and expenses towards Surveyors (which incidentally did not cost anybody anything except me).
In short we did not buy the head lease to Reduce costs but to secure our money .
my reply: as previously well discussed H you weren't even aware of the Auc>on un>l told by me, as the legal papers were a`empted by Rivers Edge to deliver to Flat 5 as they did not have home address H I mailed it to you. You weren't even in the country for the Auc>on, which Segar and I a`ended. You held up every single process from start to finish, again, in well documented correspondence, adding both extra work and expense to the simple processes involved. In fact, only gekng your correct and legal documents in order less than 24 hours before the deadline meaning everyone else, solicitor included, had to wait around needlessly over a Bank Holiday weekHend whilst you were yet again, abroad.
I can assure you (and stated in the very first le`er that went out to all Lessees with the first quarters demand) that we bought the Head Lease for exactly that reason to save money and run the place be`er and cheaper and more efficiently. Which we have done extremely successfully. As also well discussed, those that do not subHlet pay Service Charges etc from taxed income, whereas those like you that subHlet can offset these same Service Charges against income and so reduce tax.
Electrical Cer4ficate
your request: Could you please forward me a copy of the Electrical Cer>ficate issued by Southern Electrical for the common part of Mitre House.

my reply: (as explained in email reply from me yesterday)
