Women have a very strategic role and function in the family and society. Women who play multiple roles,

always adapt to various components even though they often face pressure from their environment. When
under pressure, women will adapt themselves to fit environmental conditions and even be able to change
the environment according to their own circumstances. These changes can be in the form of changes in

the functional structure of family life such as patterns of use of time and activities for the family, household
affairs, work, socio-economics, self-development and the use of leisure time. The high role of women in

their lives determines the quality of their lives.
This study aims to determine how big the contribution of the dominance of the domestic role between

husband and wife to the quality of life of women with the population being home-based entrepreneurs in
the Malang City Region. A person with a healthy physical, mental and social condition will create a good

quality of life for himself. If there are physical, mental, or social health problems, it can reduce the value of
quality of life. The research results were analyzed descriptively and presented through tables and graphs.
Measurement of quality of life using WHOQOL-BREF, from WHO and the domestic role of the family is

measured based on daily domestic activities. The results showed that the majority of women's quality of
life of home-based entrepreneurs was high and very high with the biggest contributing factor being the

domestic role which was dominated by the wife by 55.5% and the second being the domestic role which
was carried out together by almost 31%. Of the various factors that affect the quality of life of the mothers
of home-based businesses, namely personal data, business identity, self-satisfaction, self-motivation, and

other supporting factors, the dominant factor is education (Bachelor 42%), running their own business (
68%), a sense of self-satisfaction in running a business (52%) and also a feeling that mothers feel healthy,

feel safe and happy to run their business (52%).
Based on the data, it was concluded that from personal data, including those who are still productive from

education, they are also good at minimum high school, there are bachelors and even masters and
business identities have also run smoothly and can generate sufficient income to meet their needs, it can

be said that the quality of life of women perpetrators Home business is good. Coupled with a good mental
condition, including in terms of self-satisfaction, self-motivation, and other factors, the lives of home-based
entrepreneurs are of very high quality.

The dominant factor in influencing mothers to run their businesses is the education factor, the self-
confidence factor in running their own business, a sense of self-satisfaction in running a business and also

feeling healthy, feeling safe and happy to run their business.
