4.2.1 LIFTING THE BEARING STRUCTURE (PLENUM)
Lifting the bearing structure (plenum) is one of the most delicate stages of the entire installation. Consider that the structure
weighs about 400 kg and measures about 3.2 m x 3.2 m.
This paragraph lists certain ways to lift the filter ceiling. Of course, the installer will choose the most practical and safe
solution according to the equipment and space available during the installation.
The tools used to lift the ceiling are the classic hydraulic devices, ropes, hydraulic lifters, or any tool that can support the
weight of the structure and lift it up to the rustic ceiling.
The most simple among the possible options is to use two forklift trucks:
• Position yourself with the forklift trucks at the opposite ends of the ceiling
• Lift the blades of the forklift at the same time, as shown in the figure.
