UNIDIRECTIONAL FILTER CEILINGS
3 PROCEDURES FOR TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
ATTENTION!
Use appropriate equipment for handling
3.1 TRANSPORT TO AND RECEPTION AT THE SITE
The packages should not be laid down or knocked over during transport and must therefore always remain upright. Should
the packages tip over the internal components could be damaged.
Since the Carrier is always liable for damage caused to the entrusted goods during transport, before signing the delivery
note as acceptance, you must verify the integrity of the packaging and that there is no visible damage to the components. If there
is visible damage to the components or if there is the slightest doubt that the package may have concealed damage caused during
transport, you must indicate your reservations in writing to the carrier themselves, while also informing the Manufacturer.
Unless different and more specific agreements are made with the Customer, the Manufacturer delivers its machines ex works
(EXW) in standard packaging, which consists of: A wooden pallet, shockproof polystyrene cladding and a protective polyethylene
film.
3.1.1 HANDLING THE FILTER CEILING
The filter ceiling must be left in its original packaging when handled on site, until it has reached the installation area.
The package must be lifted and transported with a forklift truck, a transpallet, a lifting winch or a rope-lifting system. If
ropes are used for lifting, pass them below the pallet, while being careful when lifting - use rigid spacers so as to prevent these ropes
from crushing the structure of the package. Prevent any kind of damage by taking care not to place the package horizontally, during
storage, handling and installation.
3.1.2 REMOVE THE PACKAGING
If the filter ceiling should not be installed immediately after its arrival on site, it must be left in its original packaging and
stored in indoors in a place that is not humid and possibly heated during winter.
The shipping package must be removed for the filter ceiling to be set in its final position. Remove the packaging as follows:
1) Cut the protective polyethylene film while being careful not to damage the product.
2) Remove the shock-resistant polystyrene cladding.
