The Golf Committee is happy to report that Peter M. Collard Cup ‘The Scratch’, Member’s Opening, 75
th
Men’s Invitational and The Walter are all experiencing excellent signups so far, we are advising to
contact the Professional Shop at your earliest convenience to secure your spot.

There are many events ahead in May, please make sure to refer to the Club calendar when planning your
Club outing.

While the weather has been disappointing to say the least please make a point to host quests and share
what a special Club we have.

President’s Comments

Thanks again to all those who have done all the hard work behind the scenes and have prepared the
Club for the golf season. It has to come eventually! Our Preferred Membership Program has been
embraced by the Membership and for that I thank you. It is an exciting time at Cherry Hill, we have
brought into the fold 32 new Members, please make sure to extend a Cherry Hill welcome when you
come across a new face at the Club. For our new Members, I encourage you and your family to get
involved with all the Club activities: 9Hole and 18Hole Ladies’ groups and events, Tuesday Junior
Program, Thursday Night Bingo, Friday Fish Fry, Fireworks Celebration, Season Opening Party, Men’s
League, Men’s Invitational, Member-Member, etc. The list is lengthy in which you can get involved and
entrenched in Club life. Please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or the Professional Shop if you
have any questions.

As we move into the season the Board of Directors are asking all Members to support the initiatives that
are being brought forward. It is the Board’s responsibility, along with the Senior Management Team, to
ensure each experience at Cherry Hill is meeting and exceeding Membership expectations. This is a
responsibility we do not take lightly and for that we ask that you as a Member take upon yourself to
utilize the Club to its fullest.

The Club’s website was been relaunched to much fanfare. This, along with the shortly to be released
Club’s Social Media App, will be the central communication point for all Club news and happenings. If
you haven’t done so already please register in the Member’s Section of the website, cherryhillclub.ca,
and if you have any questions please contact the Administration office and they will be happy to lend a
hand.
