The Human Resource Department

The Indorama group companies in Nigeria- IPL, IFL & OIPL align itself with this corporate
philosophy and strives to carry out all activities to keep its employees happy, motivated,
and engaged. The company’s HR Policies are designed and implemented to achieve this
very objective.
As a strategic partner, the HR function aligns itself with overall organizational and
facilitates the attainment of those objectives continuously. In order to support the
manufacturing plants and other support services with quality services, the HR department
has established the following major functions.

The Human Resource department is manned by a team of well qualified, experienced and
competent professionals managing a gamut of functions under the umbrella.
The team is responsible for recruitment, training, employee engagement, industrial
relations, corporate affairs, community relations and other related business requirements.
Recruitment & Placement
The HR team ensures that well qualified, experienced and competent manpower is
sourced and deployed from time to time based on requirements to support the plant
operations.
Training & Development
A structured training identification is in place (TNI) to capture the training needs of all
employees annually. In house program through internal and external faculty are
conducted. Training within Nigeria & Overseas and nominations to conferences and
seminars are carried out throughout the year to build the knowledge skills and
competencies of all employees.
