Performance Management
A structured performance management system is in place where in the employees are
continually accessed, area of improvements identified and development efforts are
implemented.
Employee Relations
Various employee engagement initiatives are in place to engage the employees
productively and to act as one single cohesive team, Indorama Nigeria.
The HR team has also implemented various employee welfare initiatives and programs
towards their well-being.
Industrial Relations
Through sustained efforts, continuous communications and interactions between the
management and the unions facilitated by the HR department has been enabling a
peaceful co-existence of all stakeholders and continuous running of all manufacturing
plants and support services.
Indorama has two cohesive unions managed by team elected by employees. The union
serves as a channel to structure and present the concerns of employees to the
management.
Corporate Affairs & Communication
The corporate affairs & communications team manages the internal and external
communications and liasioning with all stakeholders, business associates and the society
at large. The team has also spear heading various interventions and program towards
corporate image building.
Community Relations
A full-fledged community relations department is functional with a team of experienced
professional, who acts as a catalyst, through implementing various community
development projects and programs.
The HR team including the corporate communications and community relations
departments have been facilitating the implementation of numerous corporate socio
responsibility project in the host communities surrounding the Indorama complex.
