CasadeRobles2(CDR2)andCasaDeRobles3(CDR3)arebothpermanentsupportivehousingprogramsfordisabled, chronicalyhomelesindividuals,sponsoredbytheU.S.DepartmentofHousingandUrbanDevelopment(HUD).CDR2 isco-locatedinoneapartmentcomplexofsevenapartmentunitsinVisalia,California.CDR3isco-locatedinone
apartmentcomplexofelevenapartmentunits,inPortervileCalifornia.CDR2consistsof11bedsandCDR3of12beds.  eseunitsareutilizedtohousesinglechronicalyhomelesadultsthatparticipateinservicesthatfostersucesand
transitiontounsubsidizedhousing. efolowingservicesareavailableatbothCDR2andCDR3:sponsoredrent,
rtationasistance,casemanagement,lifekilsworkshops,independenthousingandlinkagestootherservices. e program partnerswithcommunity-basedorganizations,publicagencies,andlearninginstitutionstodevelopthe
folowingSpecialtyServicesinthetargetedareas:(a)LifeSkils,(b)Education,(c)Crisisintervention,(d)Socialization, (e)Casemanagementservices,(f)employmentconnection,and(g)Referaltowraparoundservices.
THISYEAR:
Inthepastyear,CDR2hasserved15clientsandCDR3hasserved16clients.Ofthoseserved,approximately 70% ofthosethatleft,transitionedtopermanenthousingdestinations.
ADJUSTING TO COVID-19:
Covid-19alteredthewaytheprogramsoperateinvariousways.Inpersoncasemanagementmetingstransitionedtovideo andphoneconferencing.Homevisitsbecameporchvisits,andresidentsafetybecameaheightenedpriority. eprogram workeddiligentlytoimplementedappropriateprecautionsintermsofmaskwearing,ensuringacestotestingwhen
necesary,andoveralatentiontotheresidents’mentalhealthnedsduringthistime. eresidentshaveweatheredthe storm welandmanagedtomaintainhousing,withsomeevenmaintainingtheiremployment.
