drugandalcoholeducation,andTransitionalSkilsjournaling.Recreationalandeducationalservicesincludetwo communalareas,abasketbalcourt,acomputerlabandaswimmingpool.
THISYEAR:
DuringthemonthsofMarch–June2020BelgraviaCenterencounteredmanyobstaclesresultingfrom thecurent pandemic.Despitetheseobstacles,thestaffatBelgraviaCenterworkedtireleslyasateam toensuresafework
environmentforstaffandresidents.Inthescalyear2019-2020,nearly400participantswerescrenedfor participationintheBelgraviaCenter–transitionalhousingprogram. erewere355participantswhowere sucesfulyplacedintheprogram. eaveragenumberofparticipants,permonthwas41clients.Asanimmediate resultofthepandemicandshelterinplace,theprobationreferalsandplacementsdiddecrease.However,therehas
nover(50)percentemployment,aswelasanincreaseinclientsavings.Somecurentresidentshavedeveloped savingsacountsupto$5000.00dolarsormore.Inthispastyear,(85)percentofthepopulationweremale,(15) percentwerefemale. eaverageagewas(38)yearsold. erewere152clients,includingthosewithmentalhealth
chalengesandvariousbarierstoemploymentwhosucesfulycompletedtheprogram. Additionaly,therewerea numberofresidentsduringthisscalyearwhodepartedearlierfrom thetransitionalhousingprogram formedical and/oralternativehousingarangements.

SUCCESSSTORY:
Asucesstoryinthemaking:Mr.(Blank)enteredtheBelgraviaCenterapproximatelyoneyearago.Hishealthwas compromised,hewasactivelyusingdrugsandsmokingdaily.Everydrugtestwasvericationofcontinueddruguse andprovokedhealthproblems.Heappearedunwilingtochangehisbehavior.Staffnoticedhisslepingpaternswere labored,andhisvisitstothehospital,duetopoorbreathingwereincreasing.Afterhewasdiagnosed,andtreatedfor slepapnea,Mr.(Blank)appearsmorerestedandvisualystronger.Hebeganactivelyaddresingeachofhishealth isuesandsocialservicessupportresources.HeisstilaparticipantinourBelgraviaCenterprogram,with(8)
