Variations in basal body temperature – Most of the women report a
constant basal body temperature before ovulation. As ovulation
approaches, a slight decline is expected, but it will be followed by a steep
rise after ovulation. The rise in temperature is the sign that ovulation has
just occurred. Tracking your basal body temperature accurately over a few
months can help you predict when ovulation is going to occur.
