I'm so relieved. What time you go to bed last night?

KELLY
(Quick, casual) Hm. Let's see- I was up ‘til two makin‘ out with my boyfriend. Hangin‘ out at the
video arcade. Gettin‘ plastered. Y‘know. Typical child star stuff. (Big smile. A moment to notice he‘s a
bit shocked) I‘m kidding. Sort of. Can I use the bathroom?

BENNY
(Gestures, she bolts; a capella)
SHAKIN‘ THE BLUES AWAY
UNHAPPY NEWS- (He‘s interrupted by the sound of Kelly coughing violently.)
What the-? (Calling out) You ok? (Moment) Kelly? (To himself) (She enters, coughing intermittently)
Spit anything out besides phlegm?

KELLY
(Terrified, angry denial) Whattaya mean?

BENNY

KELLY
