BENNY
        (Happy) You followed my career!

                                                         TALCOFF
Research Department. Let‘s see, first hit the Broadway stage tender age of nine with your dad- knew
your way around a one-liner, two step, and three part harmony right from the start. Biggest child star
in the country before the talkies. Hell, tail-end of Vaudeville you owned the Palace. Sold the place
        out--38 weeks was it?

                                                           BENNY
Not only that, the Times said I was—

                                                         TALCOFF
Went on to movies, MGM musicals, then TV for 'bout a decade. Star of the longest-running show on
Broadway. Fifty years in the business- still the toast of the town on Channel Nine. Remarkable career.

                                                           BENNY
        Could be a remarkable story.

                                                         TALCOFF
Then. Late Sixties was it? Something over the film version of your show- you walk away.
Poof. Disappear into thin air. Where‘d ya go?

                                                             N
        (Moment) The phone rings.

                                                         TALCOFF
(Phone) Yes…? Of course. Could you hold a moment? (Benny) I'm sorry.

                                                           BENNY
Just lemme show ya a few—

                                                         TALCOFF
No, I get it, I get it. Biopic extravaganza. Sort of A Star is Born meets The George M. Cohan

Story. But where‘s the third reel?
