“On-Son”Traditional Drum Festival of Wapee will be held in December. This festival has long history due to the fact that Wapi
Pathum community has produced the traditional drums and that become the local musical instrument. Consequently, “On-
Son” tradition drum competition has become well-known festival since then . During the day of festival, the magnificent drum
parade is held, with thousands of people joining the procession. At night, the spectators will enjoy the stage show manifesting
about the history of Wapee Pathum city. Besides, the handicraft fair is another option for the visitors to enjoy many well-deco-
rated shops.
Wapi 的长鼓节相当特别，将在每年的十二月举行。这个节日的由来是因为 wapi 当地人

善于制作鼓，而且有着敲打长鼓的习惯。久而久之便演变为击鼓竞赛，变成了众所周知
的节日，具有相当悠久的历史。在节日当天，将举行盛大的鼓队游行，会有成千上万的
人参加到游行的队伍中来。晚上，会有相关 wapi 城市历史的舞台表演。此外，还将会
有各式各样的商品小工艺品展览，游客可以自由选择。
