I bought the car in
MOctober 1983, for
$3500. It was shown around the
area in car shows, which includ-
ed the Car Craft, Street Machine
Nationals, in Springfield Illinois,
the summer of 1984. This was
a year that several pro-street
style cars from the Pontiac area
made their debut there, which
lead to a feature article about 10
cars, owned by my friends and I.

1985. The car was stored in 1988,
in need of a full restoration. I kept
it 26 years, through 3 marriages,
2 failed attempts at restorations,
a job loss, and a bankruptcy. The
car was finally finished in August,
2015, by The Custom Shop. I was
26 when the car was first stored
and I got it back the day before
my 52nd birthday. So, I waited lit-
erally half my life, to turn the key.
A LIFETIME DREAM COME TRUE.
