From The Editor’s Desk

Dear BHEL Family Members,

BHEL, for most of us is not just an organization, where we come to work
and get paid for. It’s much more than that…it has given us an identity, a
purpose, a joy, a mission to contribute in Nation’s progress. It has given
so many friends from different parts of India & Globe. For many of us, it’s a
family, it’s a way of life! Yes, we work in different functions, with different
skill sets, with different priorities, in different Units & Regions but there’s
ONE common thread which binds us together, i.e. BHEL. We are different,
yet we are ONE and that’s name of your newsletter – EKAM.

Ekam is the celebration of our common vision, our existence, our
coherence, our unity and our spirit to be the best in whatever we do!
The ‘Ekam’ (“one” in Sanskrit) is born out of our passion to strengthen our oneness. We plan to enable this by offering
you a wide range of delights such as company news, bytes from our leaders, performance overview, operations
highlight, innovations, our best practices, success stories, learning opportunities, feedback, interview with featured
employees and many more. Our first issue, which is your take-home copy reflects some of them. We hope you enjoy

reading this Newsletter and we look forward to your feedback.
