Meeting with parliamentary committee on subordinate legislation at EDN-
Bengaluru

The parliamentary committee on subordinate legislation
under the Chairmanship of Dr. T. Subbarami Reddy, Member
of Parliament undertook a study visit at Bengaluru on
November 9, 2019.
During the visit, the Committee held discussions on the
environment (Protection) Rules, 1986; Hazardous and
Other Waste (Management and Transboundary Movement)
Rules, 2016 and Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 with
Dr Nalin Shinghal, Chairman & Managing Director BHEL;
Shri Anil Kapoor, Director (HR), BHEL; Shri A K Jain,
Executive Director (EDN) & Shri Balvir Talwar, General
Manager (HR & CC). Heads of KPTCL, KERC, Major Public
Sector Organizations and Public Sector Banks of Bengaluru
had also participated in the event.

BHEL (TBG) dedicated Toilet to school in Banaskantha TBNS as its CSR project TBG in association with NGO
Lokseva Shikshan Vikas Trust Banaskantha had undertaken CSR project for creation of Toilet facilities in Primary
School, Mudetha, Banaskantha (Gujarat)
Formal Inaugural was held on 06.08.2019
in premises of the school wherein the
much needed Toilet was dedicated to
the school children. Sh. B C Kumawat
Sr. Manager, TBNS and Sh. Ramakant
Pal Sr. Manager from Banaskantha Site
were part of the event. NGO and school
children thanked BHEL for the support.
