“Children need the freedom to appreciate the infinite resources of their hands, their eyes and their ears, the resources of forms, materials, sounds and colours”- Loris Malaguzzi.
We, at Kindergarten 1, aim at providing a range of sensorial experiences along with a vibrant learning environment to help our Kindergartners build on their prior knowledge and aptitudes. They are exposed to independent learning, problem solving, collaboration, decision -making and logical reasoning while engaging in challenging indoor and outdoor activities. Our KG1 Calendar is packed with events such as Assemblies, Educational trips, Sports Day, Singalong Programme etc., wherein we try our best to ensure that all the children are active participants.
Tapping talent in early years and nurturing it with love, care and understanding comes naturally to my hardworking and dedicated team of 51 Teachers. Their smiles, small gestures of kindness and words of encouragement makes a world of difference to each and every child, and develops in them a love for learning, right from their very first day of school.
On a personal note, Year 2018 has been truly special for me, having been appointed as the KG1 Supervisor. It is a delightful experience to be in this wonderful world of hearty smiles, oodles of excitement and boundless energy, as we continue to explore and learn together.

Aristotle said-“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no Education at all”.
In Kindergarten, our focus this year was on project, ‘Attitude of Gratitude’. Children were provided opportunities to express their gratitude towards their family, peers, school community and community at large. Our little friends bloomed into more compassionate and loving individuals and I am sure they will uphold these values as they grow up and make the world a more beautiful and happy place to be in.
Each day in our kindergarten, something new was discovered- through either play or work. Thanks to the wonderful team of dedicated, dynamic facilitators and pioneering parents who believed in providing opportunities to children to open their minds Innovation became a daily routine.
We have with a lot of love, care and conviction moulded this confident and creative bunch of learners. And with great pride and confidence, I present my batch of little friends to the Primary School.
