FALLING LEAF AT CENTRE PARK
I had my greeting cards for sale at the outdoor Centre Park festival. They were displayed on a table underneath the trees. One of the cards had a photograph lled from edge to edge with a colorful car- pet of fallen autumn leaves. It was surrounded by a large selection of other cards with varied subject matter. Coincidentally, it was au- tumn. Every once in awhile real leaves oated down from branches above. As a particular one did so, it drifted down and settled on one of the cards below. Out of the multitude of cards available, which one do you think it chose to settle on? Yes, the one with the carpet of autumn leaves. The real leaf had joined its printed brethren be- low. I smiled.
